The anticipation as you prepare for a new life to join your world. It's a wild, beautiful, challenging, and exciting time all rolled into the most precious joys of life. It's one of the best parts on my work, documenting these memories in a timeless, artful way.

I absolutely adore digging into documenting the raw beauty and love of motherhood. It is such a powerful and wild experience to be a mother - pulling you apart and making you whole in a new way all at once. So much of this work goes unseen but I truly delight in being able to capture this chapter for you in a way that makes you FEEL it all. I think every mother deserves this.

My approach to family sessions is organic. I provide the minimal amount direction needed so that you can interact and love on each other with ease and comfort. People often tend to associate family pictures as a chore but the experience with me is much different. My top goal is for our sessions to be more like a special time your family gets to spend together with nothing to do but love and play while I am quietly there making art of it for you. The lack of pressure for a performance does wonders for the mood and spirit of the session and subsequent photographs of your precious world.
